Policy Brief 2017/1. Skills Development in the Context of the Sustainable Development Goals

This policy brief explores the education development in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It analyses the major change in education field in the paradigm of SDGs and suggests the policy and educational provider's needs for change.

本論では、ガーナ国アシャンティ州の州都であるクマシにおいて、自動車修理に関連する技能を学んでいる、4つの異なるタイプの職業技術教育(TVET)期間である職業訓練所(VTI)、技術研修所(TI)、技術高校(STHS)、ポリテクニック(技術短)の494名にｔくぃうぃて行った質問票調査の分析結果を提示し、学習者がどのような基準に基づいて、またキャリア形成のどの第回で「学校」という制度化された場所を選択するのかを考察する。

Policy Brief 2016/1. Expected and Actual Skills of Young Workers in the Garment Industry of Ethiopia

This research foceses on the textile and garment industry, because it is the fastest growing and prioritized sector in Ethiopia, and has a potential for employment growth. The research aimed to capture the multiple skill dimentions of garment producion workers in Ethiopia and assessed garment workers' production skills and the skills perceived by factory managers and trainers.

ポスト2015のアジェンダ形成のプロセスの言説分析を行い、一定の概念が主流化していくプロセスを解明するとともに、持続可能な開発パラダイムにおける教育と産業人材育成つについて考察する。

公的TVET制度が提供する教育と労働市場のニーズに具体的にどのようなギャップがあるか、また、エチオピアの縫製工場に焦点を当てて、新規労働者の職業技術について、縫製工場の経営者とTVET校の教員の認識の違いを明らかにする。

『アフリカにおける職業・産業人材育成(TVET)―変化する支援環境と人材需要への対応―』　pp. 79,国際協力機構

本論では、アフリカにおける労働需要に見合った人材育成の現状と課題を概観した上で、国際協力機構（Japan International Cooperation Agency：JICA）がTVET 支援を実施しているガーナとウガンダ、そして政府から支援要請があがっているマラウイを対象とした現地調査をもとに、教育セクターから見たTVET について整理し、現状分析に基づいて、アフリカにおけるわが国のTVET 支援のあり方について具体的な提言を行う。

Vocational and Industrial Human Resource Development through TVET in Africa: Changing Assistance Environments and Human Resource Demands.

The paper gives a general outline of present conditions and issues concerning human resource development suited to labor demand in Africa, shall present research on TVET viewed from the education sector based on field surveys conducted in Ghana and Uganda, where JICA provides TVET assistance, as well as in Malawi, where the government demand for assistance in this area is growing. In addition, based on this analysis of the present situation, the authors aim to provide concrete recommendations concerning the Japanese TVET assistance in Africa.
