Reconnecting with Board Game Designer and ORIGAME CEO Daryl Chow2026.02.21 Regina Salmasan Southeast Asia: Southeast Asia
Last January 28, 2026, the Skills and Knowledge for Youth (SKY) team members and award-winning board game designer Daryl Chow of ORIGAME had an opportunity to reconnect when the latter visited the SKY Project office at Nagoya University. Both the SKY team and Daryl Chow attended the Board Game-Based Learning Forum in Bangkok in 2025.

It was an afternoon of fun and learning as the SKY team played some of the games designed and produced by ORIGAME, including games produced in collaboration with the Asian Civilizations Museum in Singapore. He also shared his experience in game development and business operations. Looking at Management Masters, the board game currently being developed by the SKY team, he kindly shared some tips on how to improve its playability while retaining the educational content.

Management Masters is a board game specifically designed for training managerial staff, including supervisors, managers, and junior managers, as well as those currently training for these positions. A pilot implementation of the Management Masters board game-based training program is scheduled for this year at the First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) in the Philippines. We are currently accepting inquiries from interested participants from various manufacturing industries. If you would like to join this training program, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll be happy to give an introduction to the training program in English or Japanese at no cost.
