The SKY team and representatives from the First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) and First College (FC) discussed possible collaborations for the skills training of the employees of companies within the industrial park. FPIP, established in 1996 in Batangas, Philippines, has more than 150 companies that provide about 70,000 jobs. FC, located within FPIP, is a school established to provide technical training and education to the individuals who work for the companies inside the industrial park. Present during the meeting are the members of SKY Project, headed by Prof. Shoko Yamada (Nagoya University); Ms. Kazumi Sekiya, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager of FPIP; Prof. Ricardo Lim (Nagoya University of Commerce and Business), adviser and program director of First College; Ms. Karmela Tanlimco, Chief Customer Services Officer and General Manager-OIC of First College.
