The Skills and Knowledge for Youth (SKY) Project has recently concluded a series of briefing sessions about its new board game-based training program called Management Masters!

The briefing sessions were held on March 11-12, 2026 at the First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) in Batangas, Philippines. Conducted in Japanese and English, the sessions were coordinated by FPIP. Prof. Shoko Yamada and Dr. Pimmada Charoensilp also had a meeting with Ms. Karmela Tanlimco, Chief Customer Services Officer and General Manager-OIC of First College, which is the training institution inside FPIP.

A total of 4 briefing sessions were conducted. These were attended by the Japanese executives from manufacturing companies which are located inside the industrial park and Filipino human resources (HR) personnel. During the sessions, Prof. Yamada and Dr. Charoensilp explained the mechanics of the board game, the flow of the 1-day training, and how the whole program can improve the soft skills of the managers in the company.
